About US

The Dyslexia Specialist believes that everyone should be given the opportunities to reach their full potential.

We work with children and adults with dyslexia and language difficulties, providing assessment and interventions. We also provide support and resources for parents and professionals.

For companies, we provide tailor-made CPD courses, giving guidance and professional development.

We believe a happy person will learn and all interventions or presentations should be fun and effective.

I’m a Dyslexia Specialist, Primary Teacher, Consultant & Entrepreneur currently based in Ireland.

I specialise in helping individuals with dyslexia to understand themselves, their challenges and their potential. The workplace can present obstacles but with correct guidance, support & information we can promote an inclusive working environment.

Knowing that dyslexia is hereditary and the need for early intervention, provides us with an opportunity to support the individual and their children prior to formal education and throughout their developmental years. Linking organisations knowledge of dyslexia with education will benefit the generations to come and create a more inclusive and diverse workforce.

When I was given a dyslexia diagnosis- my Mom found details of a Dyslexic Camp in Tralee with Catherine we got to stay in Tralee in a hotel and I went To Catherine’s course every morning. We learned 1 in 10 people are dyslexic and about all the famous people like Tommy Hilfiger, Henry Ford, Albert Einstein who are dyslexic Michael Healy Rae TD who came to visit us and told us funny stories is dyslexic as well. We went to the Woods, Tennis court in Tralee went to the Post office and sent a thank you card to our parents. I have learned lots of tricks from Catherine and am now a very confident reader in my class in school.
